A Lunes 29 de agosto 2022 / Redacción.- El Gobierno de Mexicali a través de la Dirección de Obras Públicas concluyó los trabajos de mejoramiento y rehabilitación del parque público del fraccionamiento Hacienda del Río, con una inversión de aproximadamente 5 millones de pesos, informó la alcaldesa Norma Bustamante Martínez.
Ante la presencia de vecinas y vecinos, la primera edil expresó que el deporte y la cultura son el binomio para transformar a las comunidades, es por ello, que el Gobierno Municipal le apuesta a estos proyectos que promueven la actividad física y la sana convivencia en las niñas, niños y jóvenes cachanillas.
En ese sentido, indicó que se llevó a cabo la construcción de un campo de fútbol de pasto sintético, la instalación de alumbrado público y módulos de ejercicio, así como, la rehabilitación de área de juegos infantiles y del kiosco, beneficiando a 2, 693 habitantes.
«Hay muchos parques en Mexicali que queremos arreglar, por ello, estamos trabajando para rehabilitar la mayor parte de ellos» finalizó Bustamante Martínez.
Posteriormente, la presidenta municipal hizo entrega de un paquete de balones a los equipos; Lobos FC, Nido Águilas, Centinelas y Lázaro Cárdenas categoría 40.
Al evento, también estuvieron presentes los directores de Obras Públicas, Alberto Ibarra; IMDECUF, Valerio Camargo; BISOM Juan Gabriel Haro y de Servicios Públicos Juan Francisco Garza.
