Para la Alcaldesa de Tijuana la salud de las mujeres es una prioridad, por ello, el Gobierno que representa realiza diversas jornadas a través de las cuales se garantiza el bienestar de las tijuanenses.
En conmemoración del Día Internacional de la lucha contra el Cáncer de Mama, el Instituto Municipal de la Mujer (IMMUJER), estará ofreciendo exámenes de papanicolau gratuitos el próximo jueves 19 de octubre en la explanada de Palacio Municipal, así lo informó la titular de IMMUJER, Tanya Alejandra Mota Alvarado.
De esta manera, una unidad móvil realizará las pruebas médicas de papanicolau y posteriormente se estarán entregando vales para mastografías que se realizarán gratuitamente en el Hospital General.
Mota Alvarado, agregó que a partir de las 09:00 horas, distintas dependencias municipales y asociaciones civiles brindarán sus servicios, a través de módulos de atención ciudadana en la jornada, que concluirá a las 13:00 horas.
Los requisitos para obtener estos beneficios son acudir con su credencial del INE, Curp en caso de no tenerlo en la identificación Electoral, asistir aseada, no presentarse en estado de ciclo menstrual, y en caso de estar embarazada, tener menos de 12 semanas de gestación.
