Mexicali, B.C. A 03 de abril 2024 / Redacción.- Personal del Bosque y Zoológico de la Ciudad atendieron el llamado de la Procuraduría Federal de Protección al Ambiente (PROFEPA) para resguardar a 23 pericos y un tucán en su clínica veterinaria.
Dichas especies fueron devueltas por autoridades norteamericanas a la SEMARNAT, por lo que se solicito el apoyo del Bosque y Zoológico de la Ciudad para albergar a estas aves.
Los 23 pericos y el tucán actualmente se encuentran en la clínica veterinaria del Bosque de la Ciudad, en donde están siendo revisados por el personal médico para próximamente formar parte del área del aviario de exhibición para las y los visitantes.
