Tijuana, Baja California, a 07 de junio del 2024 / Redacción.- El Ayuntamiento de Tijuana, encabezado por la alcaldesa Montserrat Caballero Ramírez, instaló el Punto Naranja número 613, en el colegio Real de Minas, población del Ejido Francisco Villa.
La directora del Instituto Municipal de la Mujer (IMMUJER), Tanya Alejandra Mota Alvarado, destacó cómo el Punto Naranja es un protocolo de seguridad, el cuál busca que distintos establecimientos se sumen a la lucha por la seguridad de las mujeres de cualquier edad.
Informó que en estos lugares existe personal debidamente capacitado, que cuentan con conocimientos sobre cómo actuar en caso de ser necesario y la importancia de que una institución educativa forme parte del programa.
La funcionaria agregó que la aplicación Botón Morado de la Secretaría de Seguridad y Protección Ciudadana Municipal (SSPCM), también se puede usar en situaciones de emergencia.
El Instituto ha tenido acercamiento con establecimientos locales e instituciones educativas para realizar la gestión, capacitación e instalación de puntos naranjas, estableciendo zonas seguras para reafirmar el compromiso del XXIV Ayuntamiento en la prevención y atención de la violencia de género.
