El equipo Manchester Vera se coronó campeón de la Liga Universitaria de Futbol de Femenil (LUFF), al vencer a UABC por 4 goles a 1 en la categoría Primera Fuerza.
El encuentro se celebró el domingo pasado en el campo del CREA y fue la culminación de un gran torneo del poderoso Manchester Vera, quien a lo largo de las jornadas mostró un nivel por encima de los conjuntos participantes.
Para llevarse el título contó con dos goles de la goleadora Vanessa Padilla quien marcó a los 13 y 49 minutos y también dos de Ilian Zazueta abriendo la pizarra a los 4 minutos del primer medio y su segundo a los 66 de tiempo corrido.
Por parte de la UABC la anotadora fue Luisa Álvarez a los 31 minutos.
El árbitro central fue Pedro Peñuelas, auxiliado por los jueces Miguel Sánchez y Pedro Montecarlo, además de Daniel Rosales como cuarto árbitro.
Al concluir la final el comité organizador que encabeza la presidenta Aracely Sosa Salas, entregó a Manchester Vera dirigido por Víctor Covarrubias el trofeo de campeón y a la UABC comandado por Fernanda Argueta el de subcampeón.
También fue reconocida como la mejor portera Ana Martínez, Vanessa Padilla la MVP y Rosa Aguiar como mejor anotadora del torneo, todas de Manchester Vera.
